Introducing Glitchy Links
It’s about time we had an avatar blogging here. 3pointD is proud to announce the addition of Glitchy Links to the site. Dial down the right-hand column for the latest headline round-up from the metaverse, Web 2.0, interactive entertainment, games, music, video, film and a bunch of other places — all hopefully related in some way to the 3pointD things we’ve been flagging here for a month(!) now.
Formerly part of the Second Life Future Salon blog, Glitchy will now be gracing 3pointD with news he’s spotted of various virtual worlds. We think you’ll find his dispatches valuable.
Glitchy is an especially apt contributor to 3pointD because he stands astride a number of virtual worlds. An avatar without a home — and a card-carrying member of the 3pointD generation — Glitchy travels the metaverse with an eagle eye for the kinds of tidbits that don’t normally find their way into the main thread here, for one reason or another. When J.Lo logs into the metaverse, for instance, Glitchy will be first on the story.
