The dates aren’t official yet and could well change, but according to more than one person who’s in touch with the Electric Sheep Company (and who isn’t me), the 2006 edition of the Second Life Community Convention is now tentatively scheduled to take place around the second or third week of August, in San Francisco.

Last year’s SLCC was great fun, a one-day event held on conjunction with the State of Play conference at the New York Law School. It sounds like the SLCC event is expanding to three days this year, organized in large part by ESC, in conjunction with Linden Lab. You may not want to book your ticket just yet, but it wouldn’t be a bad idea to save the date. See you there.
