Virtual Architectural Visualization in Google Earth

Stefan Geens at Ogle Earth uses Google Earth to ponder what the World Trade Center site in New York City would be like with several different buildings on it: the old WTC, the newly designed Freedom Tower, and the under-construction Burj Dubai. (Warning: the post contains an image of the old WTC in flames, for comparison.) You can also grab the KMZ file of the buildings to check things out for yourself.
Google Earth seems an ideal place to do this kind of virtual architectural visualization. But there must be a better word for it than that. 3pointD likes coinages, so: any suggestions?
Interestingly, Stefan tried using SketchUp to get the job done, but found the Mac beta too buggy. We look forward to his continued experiments.
